Can hair grow out of a wart (on my head)?

I've had this thing for a few years but I haven't always had it. When I went to get my hair cut the barber said, "oh you have a mole here" and I took it as being that. For some reason though, today I decided to look at it more closely and it doesn't look like a mole to me. For one its not brown at all. So I bought some over the counter freeze medication, but the warnings say that you shouldn't use the medication on warts that have hair growing ot of them. I wondered why and one online web page said hair doesn't, "normally" grow out of warts.

The wording on the web page makes me think that hair "can" grow out of a wart although it isn't common. A person on another web page where you can ask medical questions had a similar question since he also had hair coming out of a wart and the doctor froze it. The "online" doctor thought the other doctor may have been too hasty in freezing it though.

So should I freeze it? What's the worst that can happen, a small burn maybe?

Can hair grow out of a wart (on my head)?

Yes.

Get it looked at though, just to eliminate anything more sinister.
