I have stopped using the flat iron, because I know it isn't good for my hair. However, my hair is still not growing. What other suggestions or remedies have any of you tried that have worked? THANKS!

Have a shower in the morning and at night, and at night don't blow dry your hair, apparently when it's wet it grows :S

Try looking up really good shampoo/conditionor. It might work if you find the right stuff.

Wash your hair regularly with good shampoo and just take care of it.

I was going through the same thing. I cut my hair and then I missed my longer hair. I started using shampoos for thinning hair that I bought at Sally's Beauty Supply store. I also started taking vitamins and hair growth pills. It has worked so far :)

sometimes hair just grows slowly......i've heard that its not good to shampoo and condition it everyday but its better to do it every other day if you can. and when it does grow..get it trimmed often it helps it stay healthy and continue growing

try mane n tail shampoo. its a shampoo for horses but its advertised in cosmo all the time. its supposed to make your hair grow fast and strong. that or try a shampoo especially for long hair. i think garnier just put one out. or herbal essences. go to your local target or walmart. they will have a variety of choices for you.

Just wait it out, and eventually it will grow. STOP CUTTING IT! It's not like your hair will never grow again, it will grow soon- give it time! In reference to things helping it to grow, there is basically nothing that will "make it grow." Just, take care of your hair and wash it on a regular basis with shampoo and conditioner that is right for your hair... and it will grow, it WILL.

Use Nioxin product there is a scalp treatment you spray on , and it does work if your hair is damaged I recomend using shampoo and conditoner with this ( nioxin ) you can buy at Ulta , JC Penney and places in the mall , also if you flat iron you have to use a product first to protect the hair from the heat , some type of flat iron cream
