I am currently trying to grow my hair out about five inches.
Right now it sits at about shoulder length or a bit longer.
I do have wavy, thick hair, but I straighten it with a flat iron.
Would you say a year or two?
How long would it take for my hair to grow?
Try these things. If you dont use thesed tips then 10 months because hair usually grows about half an inch each month
Brush your hair before shampooing.
Massage your head. This help to loosen more dead particles. It also helps to improve blood circulation. Start massaging from the back of the head with finger rotating slowly and gently. Work the finger in circular movements. This gives relaxation to the muscles there.
Wet the hair thoroughly with warm water. Use a little of shampoo, mix with equal quantity of water and rub into hair till getting a thick froth.
Rinsing neatly after shampooing is essential. Do it 3 to 4 times. The last rinse better with cold water. Add a little vinegar/lemon also make everything better.
Put on your conditioner.
Finally you have to dry your hair. Treat it with great value. Use dry and soft towel. Do not rub, just blot and dry.
TipsGet it trimmed regularly. They say it helps it and it really does. It keeps your hair healthy, which helps it to grow, cut your hair 1/8 an inch every 6 months,it will grow faster because you trimmed all the split ends
Get a good natural bristle brush and brush your hair and scalp every day for about 10 minutes. This will stimulate growth better than anything that you can do.
You can rub your scalp and it helps the blood flow faster which supply more vitamins to your roots. Do this three times a day. When you wake up for 5 minutes. During the day just sometimes as long as you want. And right before you go to sleep for 5 minutes.
Warm 2 tsp. of olive oil and 2 tsp. coconut oil and gently massage every part of the scalp for 10-15 minutes. Rinse a towel in hot water, wipe and wind the hair around the head as it cools. Repeat 2 or 3 times to issue total saturation. After that, shampoo and rinse well. It is good for brittle dry hair.If you do this once a week it will help your hair grow faster.
WarningsMake sure you don閳ユ獩 have dandruff or split ends or dry hair or oily hair or hair loss etc. which will affect hair growth. If you have any of these things then give care to avoid that.
OR
The first step is prevention. Care for your hair as you would any valuable possession. Use a mild shampoo that is recommended for your hair type, such as: oily hair, dry hair, color treated, etc. If you are unsure, seek the advice of a hairdresser. I suggest using a conditioner after every shampoo; again, one that is formulated for your hair type. The conditioner will soften the hair and reduce the amount of wear causing friction between hair strands. Reduce the amount of heat styling you do. Whenever possible, let your hair dry naturally.
Finally, get regular trims. If you are striving for longer hair, see your hairdresser at least every ten to twelve weeks to have one quarter to one half inch trimmed. This will get rid of any budding split ends while, at the same time, allowing for growth.
While making sure these things are taken care of, remember that the hair papilla, where the hair begins, is nourished by blood vessels, so concentrate on a healthy lifestyle. Make sure you are getting the essential nutrients required by your body and promote good circulation with regular exercise and scalp massage.
